Family and Childcare Center – KMOP is a Greek NGO with more than 40 years of extensive experience and activities in the social sector, particularly in providing support to socially vulnerable groups. KMOP's axes of expertise include mental health, employability promotion, gender equality and provision of support to other socially vulnerable groups, with significant relevant track record.

As part of its programme operations, KMOP is currently looking for an enthusiastic and motivated professional to join its team, having Tirana, Albania, as base, but able to travel also to other parts of Albania for project purposes.


Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate & manage the implementation of donour-funded projects and programmes implemented by the organization in the country
  • Draft reports and deliverables
  • Organise dissemination and capacity building events (e.g. conferences, workshops), as well as implement dissemination and awareness raising activities (e.g. newsletters, press releases) & training sessions
  • Prepare education and training material (e.g. training modules)
  • Participate in project meetings with various stakeholders, including the Contracting Authority, representing the organization
  • Prepare research methodologies, coordinate the implementation of desktop and field research (interviews, focus groups) and prepare the necessary tools (e.g. questionnaires)
  • Identify additional project and programme opportunities for the organisation in the country and participate to the preparation of funding applications
  • Contribute to expanding the organisation’s network of collaborating partners

Requirements:

  • Excellent academic background, including a Bachelor’s degree (preferably in social or legal sciences), while a Master’s degree or a PhD will be considered as an asset
  • Professional experience in project / programme management (needs assessments, proposal preparation, implementation, reporting, monitoring, evaluation)
  • Proven experience in implementing projects of the social sector
  • Professional experience in a NGO will be considered as an asset
  • Previous experience in working with international donours
  • Well organized personality, able to prioritize tasks
  • Strong analytical skills and critical thinking
  • Strong skills in drafting well-structured reports
  • Strong team-building skills
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
  • Strong managerial and time management skills
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in English
